I'm thinking that some sweat in it, their pubic hairs were in it they could of commited crimes in it who knows! Would you buy a car if you know that car was used for all kinds of nasty things?

I do understand your thought RedLips as many do think of what transpires prior them acquiring the item. I also tend to note ladies worry more on that then a man.

I have bought cars that were used in drug runs and were sold at police auction. Painful part was sorting out all the parts (mostly interior) to put it back to gether but the price was nice!

Do I think for one minute that what they did reflects on me no. Dirt or viruses of any sort can be killed in a good cleaning so I do not worry on that part.

Bullet hole might be a concern as they let in rain but that is about it for me.

I guess that is what makes men and women different. I know as a guy I care less where my clothes come from as long as they fit and the were clean.

I've been wearing second-hand clothing since I was born from various different second hand stores, such as The Salvation Army and Value Village. Although I don't agree with what my mom chose to dress me in as a toddler (boy's football jerseys....I wanted to wear dresses!), there's alot of very practical clothes. It feels good to have clothes on your back and to know that alot of people cared enough to donate. Thrift stores kept me clothed and with shoes my whole life and sometimes I still shop there, even though I'm well off now. Sometimes when I just want a bunch of t-shirts for the gym or some pants for work, it's quick, easy, and not too expensive when you just want to pick up some basics.

When I first bought my house, I went to thrift stores alot to get me started. It's amazing how much a store will try to sell you dish cloths and bath towels for. Places like Walmart are OK, but the prices add up quick and the quality is really not there. Thrift stores often have some higher quality items marked at a reasonable price. I've even picked up some table cloths that looked a hundred times better than some of the stuff I was finding in other stores.

I'm also not really big into fashion. I like to look good at work, but honestly that could be achieved by a modest pair of dress pants and a blouse. As for looking good everywhere else, I have a family and a great boyfriend who enjoy my company whether I'm wearing a T-Shirt and jeans or my work clothes. I have a very emotionally fulfilled life, so I have no concerns of trying to impress anyone.

I like thrift shops, and don't have a problem with them whatsoever. I've even seen 3 women fighting over a designer dress in one shop, that was selling for £2, and would have cost over £200 new! It's a good way of getting to wear something that you wouldn't normally get to buy, and as long as it's washed first, can save you loads.

One of the benefits of getting clothes from the thrift shop is when you need a costume for something. People get rid of some really old stuff that has probably been siting in their closet for [..] years - does well when you need a retro look.
