Cratol feels something try to seize his mind, wrench it to filling some other purpose. But the monk refuses to bend. It does throw him off a little however, and his next strikes fail to connect.
Suddenly unable to see, Poppo tries bringing in another animal, there is the sound of wings and a short bark. The owl flies at the enemy, but like its recently destroyed peer, is unable to connect. "Owls? Is that all you can conjure little mage? Perhaps I was wrong about you being worth keeping." Rezmir breathes a plume of acid at Lora and Zarra. The relatively narrow line of acidic smoke is a far cry from the all encompassing cloud of death she unleashed back at Castle Naerytar, but it is quite potent nonetheless.
Zarra strikes again, scoring a light hit on the half dragon, while Lora retreats, calling forth an illusory double.
Mortis fades into the shadows of the room, becoming effectively invisible even to those with darkvision. Its influence is certainly still felt though, as deep claw wounds suddenly appear on Cratol's back.
Out of Character: 24 Acid damage to Lora and Zarra, DC 14 Reflex save for half. Cratol took 14 slashing damage.
Poljen and Velon rapidly hack the paralyzed ogre apart. It falls, leaving its companion to deal with the mephit horde and nearby warriors. Lawrance shifts aim, and hits with his firebolt. The ogre strikes out at another mephit, destroying it with another burst of steam.
Tazskan rushes up the stairs to spot his rescuer and companions fighting a pair of ogres. His senses are picking up an evil outsider in the room to his left. Not a fiend, something from the plane of shadow.
Out of Character: The paladin's divine sense won't pick up Rezmir. Her familiar however is another matter.

Taking advantage of the distraction provided by his summoned forces, Lawrance keeps back and launches more Fire Bolts at the beast, holding his more powerful spells for the bigger threats in the castle. The flurry of mephits harass and distract the ogre, tearing small bits from it's flesh.
Specific Action: Fire Bolt from L, 5 Ms attack, 1 Help Action.
Out of Character: : I still need to know if Mage Armour is still up from the werewolf battle.

Velon calls out "Tazskan, Lawrance, finish this! They need us in there!" He looks to Poljen to join him in the next room before it is too late for their comrades. Velon rounds and heads into Rezmir's room, a mind to aid his companions but also find the mask.
Out of Character: . Rolling perception for whether or not Velon sees the circle on the floor, and investigation for any sign of the mask as he enters. Remaining actions TBD.

Cratol grimaces' in pain but keeps on attacking the half dragon. He hopes that someone can come to their aid soon. He is hoping to be able to strike the half dragon knocking her prone.
Out of Character: Spending another Ki point. Hit points updated.

The Quiet Shadow says... Zarra feel the cold, but smiles none the less as the room gets dark. For a drow, darkness was far more a friend and ally then a hindrance given her sight. Yet the acidic breath did hurt by a fair bit, though the drow did find herselfstill standing. She will try to move back to attack at range with her bow. Edited: Thomaslee on 15th Nov, 2017 - 8:38pm

Velon reaches the door to Rezmir's room, but stops upon seeing complete darkness. He casts the Light cantrip on his shield, hoping the lack of light is nothing more sinister than this minor spell can overcome.
Out of Character: . At least the distance has saved him from stepping onto the circle for now. I really don't want Velon to be taken out of the battle before he even gets to join, or worse get turned against the party. He hasn't really blown his nova abilities yet, and I'd much rather them be used on Rezmir than all of you!

As Poppo hears others approach he yells, "There's some sort of magic circle inside of the door. Be careful!"
Trying to remember where he saw Goliath, Poppo will Misty Step to the other side of the room and hopefully appear somewhere with light!"
