For older adults, poor vision can lead to physical decline and cognitive problems
When older adult's vision declines sharply, their participation in physical and mental activities also declines. A team of researchers has suggested that, since most vision loss is preventable, strategies to postpone vision loss might also help delay physical and mental decline among older adults. Ref.
