never been real convinced that having some one call the cops makes much of a difference as they are slow in responding 15 to 20 minutes best 10. that is if a cruiser is in the area.

I think what Klar said is great advise have some one com in and ensure you have covered your weak areas. I think lights popping on in the dark is great but day time is the common time for a robbery in my area. Mostly unlocked doors especially the garage. So having a person show you that and how to secure it I think beats out the alarm.
