
Teach yourself everyday happiness with imagery training
Researchers have found that self-guided positive imagery training can successfully combat negative emotions in our daily lives. This tool is so powerful that it also changes the way our brain functions. Ref. Source 6j.
I have never thought of using positive imagery training. I use meditation to help myself get over a number if issues. I think of positive thoughts as a way to over come negative stuff. I think picturing something positive for me such as a image of my grand kids or doing things with them can have a more positive effect too. I may try this or incorporate into what I am currently doing as more positive influence on my meditations.
