American Badger

A badger can bury a cow by itself

While studying scavenger behavior in Utah's Great Basin Desert, biologists observed an American badger do something that no other scientists had documented before: bury an entire calf carcass by itself. Ref. Source 6e.

Knowing that a badger can do something like this is interesting. No one would have believed this if it had not been seen. It is good to know that many scavengers like this can do things like that.
