Building A Character Around Yourself - Page 9
I have done that many times with Dungeons & Dragons Beyond! I even had my husband build one that was based on myself so I wouldn't be biased. I haven't been able to play any of these characters, but I really want to!

I think we all put a little bit of ourselves into our characters because we want to feel like we can relate to our character. But making my character completely out my own attributes would make for a weak boring character because we don't live in medieval times so I would not naturally have the strength or wisdom I would of had if I were living in that era.

Comments: I really can't see any fun in making a character around my own attributes because that would be dull and boring. The whole idea about a character is to imagine all the things you are not and then play it.
