"Right then, we might as well head that way ourselves. There is one confirmed specter down there, though he seems to be friendly. He reports a large group of hostile creatures are in the tunnels as well, and that they were responsible for the collapse. We found no indication that any of these will head your way for now, just letting you know."
I'm curious as to another person arriving from our world. I'm quiet for a minute then I speak up." I don't know about you two, but meeting others from our world scares the hell out of me. Time could pass much differently here than at home. What if we speak to this stranger and it's 2050 there now? What if the world has been devastated by nuclear war? I'm hoping to get back one day in 2017." I frown as we walk along.
I frown, "That would seem to fall into the category of things best not to worry about until one can attempt to do something about it. The question of when we return home will have to wait until we determine if we can return home. In any case, I thought you were growing comfortable with the idea of life here?"
"Regardless, I doubt we will face such a great time disparity. Douglas has been here for decades, and decades have passed on Earth as well."
I shrug at this." I've grown used to this world. I have been enjoying it. Thoughts like what I mentioned cross my mind at night especially. To return home and years have passed there and our love ones are all dead. Losing Den here has affected me as well. He was a kindred spirit to me in a way. You and Thomas are different from me. You start talking about science or your plans and it just goes over my head. It's like a foreign language to me." I sigh softly." I'm sorry. It isn't either of your faults. I'm just feeling down today. Please forgive me."

"There is nothing to forgive. Losing Dennis was a harsh blow to us all, and I can hardly claim to not have morose thoughts about the situation."
"Heck, I'm sorry if you feel like I'm alienating you. This place has such potential, its hard for me not to get excited. I've wanted to make a mark on our own world for so long, but there are thousands more who feel the same who are in a better position to do so over there."
As Vickie steps out of her apartment to go check her mail she suddenly finds herself on a roadway with farms off the road to her left and right. Ahead she can see a Castle of some sort that is round in nature instead of square as she is used to seeing in photos.
Grant you are relaxing and told where the library is at. Once you get there you see another half elf and full blooded elf women studying in the library. You can now tell the difference between a elf and a half elf.
Main group you make your way back to the Stronghold as darkness is taking over. The Lord is in the dining hall. Lwethiela is in there with him.
"Greetings my lord, Lwethiela, we have a preliminary report for you. We made contact with an entity calling itself George, a spirit who lingers in those ruins. It was apparently he who caused yesterday's panic with the spells. Regardless of that, he seems friendly. Aside from demeanor, at the very least, he didn't choose to take advantage of the fact that we had few things ready for a specter."
"Presuming his word can be trusted, he reported a hostile group occupying the northern part of the ruins, stating they were responsible for the collapse. He also mentioned a lost newcomer roaming in the northwest."
"It was this last that sent us out of the tunnels early, we'd intended to report to Lwethiela and head back in to find the newcomer. But then we learned that both had headed here."
"The stranger, is it as I suspected, is he of our world?"
