Severe mental illness linked to much higher risk for cardiovascular disease. There is a substantially increased risk for developing cardiovascular disease when someone suffers from severe mental illness, compared to the general population, an international study of more than 3.2 million people reveals. Heart and Illness Mental

I've read so much literature on what causes heart disease but this one trumps all for the most unusual. I guess your mind is the controller of everything so anything is possible when its not functioning as it should.
