Hiding Christmas Presents From Children
Where did your parents choose to hide your Christmas presents when you were growing up? Do you use the same method with your own children?

I really don't know where my parents kept the presents. I tried searching once but could not find it. I figured one of two things. Either someone was keeping it for them or they waited until Christmas Eve to get it so they did not have to worry about hiding them.

We had a spooky basement in the house I grew up in after my dad retired from the Marines. I was young, there was an old oil fired burner that warmed our house, you could see the flame in it, think Freddy Krueger. It was always dark… even with the lights on. They put them in there. I was a young teenager before I had the guts to go in there and that is when I figured it out.
