Most of the currently active games are one variety or another of Dungeons & Dragons /Pathfinder, so in that regard its pretty much just a question of which edition you like best.
In regards to which campaigns are more action oriented, that's probably a tossup between KN's 3.5E game and my 5E game. The former is more open world/make your own tale, the latter is a rather long running campaign with a defined core storyline.
Either way though, you'll want to look here: Source 6n.

Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 is my preferred choice of game system. I have a few characters, but I don't think you Game Masters would agree with with some of their stats.
One such example would be my Half Fiend Drow, Nym Zoland. He is a Gustault of the ranger rogue with levels in assassin and foe hunter. The stat that would be the problem is his 26-30 dexterity.
Then Kntoran's your man.
He's actually running two different 3.5e games at the moment. One's a rather traditional wander where the adventure goes thing.
The other has a bit of a twist. You play yourself, estimating where your stats would be, and picking a class based on what you'd like to do. And yes, 'you' are fully aware that you're in a Dungeons & Dragons based universe. Loads of metagaming discussions, and 'I' am planning to start recursively playing Star Wars d20 with the other guys in between adventures.
But no, I'm afraid I don't think a 26+ dexterity is going to fly in either campaign.

Yeah. That's what I thought. The thing is, the Character is level 21 with a + 6 Level Adjustment. 4 points of his 30 Dexterity stats is from a +4 gloves of Dexterity.
His stats are
Strength: 16
Dexterity: 26(30 with gloves)
Con: 18
Int: 20
Wisdom: 18
Charisma: 16
He was designed with gear to be in a group whose average party level was 36.
