This sea lion sure gets around town. The California sea lion pup that waddled into the parking lot of a Chevy's Fresh Mex restaurant in Del Mar late Tuesday has been stranded and rescued before. About a month ago, the little guy was picked up in Solana Beach. Ref. Source 7

California needs a special crossing guard for all these sea lions that cross the roads. Its either they have a fascination with cars or the sea is getting boring. Maybe they should be called "Road lions" or "Car lions".

As the waters warm we are bound to lose some species perhaps this is one of them. In Vancouver a problem is arising where they are getting their heads stuck in plastic and it cuts into the skin. Wounder if this is happening in California also.
