Who are the significant persons (heroic, political, religious, military) of lore in Israel that would make good characters in a role-playing game if you were to convert their known history into a RPG character? Consider Israel's history and modern personalities in your answer.

That's very easy, just tap into the Torah and all the legendary heroes. You've got king David himself, Samson, Moses and Deborah. Any of those and probably others I'm not thinking about right now would make some really good characters with interesting stats.
