What are the typical battle procedures for the military of East Timor? Consider both the historical and modern aspects of attack and defense for East Timor in overcoming the enemy. Has East Timor borrowed combat procedures from any historical encounters?

Tactics Military Timor East
East Timor get their military tactics predominantly from three countries, Portugal, America, and Australia. As such they use western tactics modified for their small forces and strategic/tactical situation. They have an infantry force, so all of their army tactics are designed to accentuate the strengths of infantry while overcoming its weaknesses. That said, they have no real threats so their tactics also tend towards the defense. The navy gets its training predominantly from American and Australia. That training is in supporting and working in unison with other countries heavier, more capable ships and in anti piracy operations.
