I think it all depends upon the father's wishes. If they had always wanted a child it would be a beautiful thing to me. If the father hadn't wanted a child it would be wrong in my opinion. Done the right way it is a beautiful show of love. The wife loved her husband so much that she wanted a piece of him to live on in their child.
