Ariana the Hunter

Ariana, stands five feet eight inches tall with a lean but muscular body. Ariana has silver white hair with medium green eyes and is told that she takes after her father. Ariana has lightly tanned skin and an exotic appearance to those not knowing of her background. Ariana views alliances as needed but hard come by and Ariana intends to become like the heroes she read of in stories in order to become the next Ruler of Kings.

Advisor Description

We met at the tavern where she worked, said her name was Mara when I'd asked. I remember her laughing at the question as most only called her 'wench' or other less flattering names that I shall not record here.

Apparently, I found out later, she had been watching me for some time at the request of the Captain of my Father's guard. He knew she had a good end on her shoulders and was able to see things I wouldn't understand, so he asked her to follow after me.
I still don't fully understand the meaning of those words, I guess that's part of what he meant.

She seems very loyal to the kingdom and my family's name so I am more than willing to have her at my side, I just nope that this trust hasn't been placed in vain.. I have so few friends and I'd had to have to lose this one.

Reflections on your mother

My Mother was a kind and loving woman who was strong of heart and character. She knew what had to be done and wasn't afraid to speak out when necessary, but she also knew when it was smart to hold her tongue.

I know her and Father loved each other very much, though it seemed to the casual observer than they hardly spoke and we only a marry of convenience for their families.

I wish I had had more time with her, to learn from her wisdom, but the illness that took her saw to the fact that couldn't be.

I miss her.. One day I hope I can be even half as strong in character and bearing as she was.

Reflections on your father

My Father was a wise and kind man, the people loved him, or so I am told.
I don't know much about my Father, or really I should say I don't remember much about him.
If this is true about him, why did he leave us? Why would he abandon his family to fight in some distant war?

They tell me he died, but I have never seen the body or proof of this. I wonder, did he really die or did he just never return out of shame for some reason?

I wonder why the Dream Whisperer keeps coming to me, asking me to write about these things.. The dreams are so lucid, it is almost a little frightening in nature and yet I feel no fear when I am in her presence.

Mara,
It hurts me to write this but I believe I died. I am alive now, or I would not be writing this, but I was in the tunnels under the city as the Lady Fluke told me to do. She said it would help train me better for what was to come.
The Dograts there were nothing I couldn't handle, truly.. It was the bats, there were just so many of them.

I saw Death himself and he gave me an offer which I took because I knew my destiny to become Ruler of Kings was not completed and I didn't wish to leave this mortal realm just yet.
The mystics helped me atone for this and cleansed my soul, but I am now more wary than before.

Bats? I've hunted boar for the tavern many times and had no issue, but bats are a different matter it seems. They are fast and small, I need to train better.

Please don't be angry at me for this accident in my path, I promise you I shall be more careful in future.

First time in the Town

The first day I arrived at The Town it was confusing. There were so many people of all races and colors rushing back and forth from one building to another I almost got dizzy from just looking at it.

Mara was with me though, she helped a lot by pointing out the Tavern as a place where I could find food and lodgings for the night. As a trapper I found I was able to assist the Tavern keeper by hunting down some boar for him.

The little gold he gave me in return was welcoming since I was, and still am, unsure how I am going to earn enough for training to be the Ruler of Kings I need to become.

Message to Advisor

Mara,
This place is still as confusing as ever. They tell me I must train to get better, but training is hard when all everyone wants from you is gold I don't have or skills I have not learnt.

I could learn these skills I'm told, but no one tells me where or how? And if I by chance find the ones to do this I bet they will want payment for it, as everyone here seems to want.
Gold is hard to come by, I can hunt boar for the Tavern keeper but he pays me so little and everything else costs so much.

I am at a loss Mara, how am I supposed to keep going with my destiny if I cannot even afford to study the basic skills required of me?
