Here we have Mel Gibson in one of his not so good performances. The story predictable, the plot familiar, and the movie itself rather long. Don't get me wrong... It was a nice movie, but that's the beginning and end of it.

The movie centers around Mel's daughter Emma. Mel, as a father really hasn't spent much time with her recently so he does not know her activities. To his surprise he finds out after her death that she was involved in an activist group that was trying to uncover a private company that made nuclear weapons for other countries. That's what gets Emma killed, she knew too much. Now as you guessed it Mel is suddenly involved in her daughter's business now that she is dead and becomes one of those radical cop types. In the mean time the company sends out assassins to kill Mel but as with every hero show they pretty much do a lousy job of it. Mel is then left to do his thing with the help of one of the company's own assassins who turns on them to help Mel.

My main problem with the movie was it was too long for what it presented. I felt no sorrow for Mel over his daughter. His approach to it felt robotic, like just another day at the office. There is a lot of political story telling here and conspiracists will love this one. I don't think the name suits the general movie although I know what they meant by it.
