Future Airplanes

Imagine a small plane that runs on electricity and can get you to your destination safely and quicker than using a big commercial airline. The fact that many of the local General aviation airports are untapped you can get closer to where you are going by flying in a smaller plane.

I can imagine other future plane even doing better.

That is pretty exciting and a bit scary because if its all about electricity then a lighting strike could disable the whole plane.
