Case Murder Phillips Sharron

So let me get this straight. His dad died in 2002 and he is just now coming forward? If I was in his shoes as soon as his dad died or as soon as I cold be free of him I would have gone straight to the police and reported this murder. Why wait for over a decade? I think there could be more to this than reported.
