Advisor Description

I was talking to the innkeeper, Stefan, in the tavern.
I wanted to know more about the tavern and its history and he was happy to answer.
At one point during the conversation he said,
"Listen lass, talking to you was a pleasure. But I think you should ask this preacher what he wants."
"What preacher?" I asked.
"Turn around. The third table on your left. The man is watching you from the last ten minutes."
I did as Stefan told me and saw a man sitting at the table.
He looked to be in his mid fifties.
He had red hair which was hanging loose on his shoulders and green eyes.
He was wearing some black clothes.
The man was looking in our direction.
I turned back to Stefan.
"How do you know he is looking at me? And how do you know he is a priest? Assuming from this clothes he could be anyone."
"Well I am not the pretty girl here. An assasin or a thief would be less obvious in what he was doing."
Did he just call me pretty?
"I know him or at least, I know about him. He moved in the town about ten years ago. His name is Albus."
I thanked Stefan for the information and approached the priest's table.
I stood there for a moment, thinking how to begin the conversation.
I was not experienced in talking to men or people in general.
Thankfully he spoke first.
"Hello young lady. I heard about your mother's passing. I am very sorry for your loss. She was a good woman."
"What? You knew my mother? Who are you?"
"Yes I knew your mother, she was a dear friend of mine. As for who I am, I am going to pretend Stefan did not just tell you this and introduce myself. I am Albus, a priest and a healer at your service. And you are Lueldora. Please sit down and we can talk. Can I buy you a drink?"
"What the… "
"Now now, young lady, I know you were about to say something your mother would not approve. Please sit down and tell me what you want to drink while we talk."
"Just a glass of milk, please.", I said while sitting down.
"You were saying you knew my mother. Prove it."
"How about you tell me why you hate dogs?"
Ouch. An understatement.
"Who do you think healed you after your accident?"
"That was not an acc… "
"People were saying you were careless. Are you saying the boy purposefully pushed you in the kennel? What was his name?"
"Alan… Alvin… Nevermind. He was old enough to know the consequences of what he had done. He was sixteen, not six. And do not give me the same excuse his father said, that he was just a boy and I was a clumsy little girl!"
"Calm down. I was not going to defend him. I came after it happened, when your mother called me."
I did not realised I started yelling.
"Now the whole town will know I was almost eaten. Just great. If you healed me I should remember you. And I am sure this is the first time we meet."
"You were unconscious most of the time. And before you ask, your mother asked me to move in this town and wait here for you soon after I healed you. I did not meet with her since then."
"Mother asked you? Why?"
"To help you in any way I can."
"And you just agreed?"
"Why not? She was my friend. I am here for you, to guide you and help you. You can listen to me or not, the choyce is yours."
After that he told me where to find him in the town and then he left.

Reflections on your mother

Reflections on my mother

I keep thinking about her every day since her death.
I have her eyes, but she had auburn her.
She tried to raise me as best as she could in the absence of father.
When I was little she used to sing to me and play with me.
When I was almost killed she was horrified.
I not always listened to her so I am probably not as well prepared as she wanted.
I hope she will be proud of me whatever I do.
I will always miss her.
Goodbye Mum.

Witch Lueldora

Most handsome gentleman of Lueldora

I was working in the library.
I walked between shelves, carrying a large stack of books.
Suddenly I bumped into someone.
I landed on the floor, the person landed ontop of me, and the books somewhere around us.
I realised that I found myself pressed to the floor by a man.
A moment passed without him getting up.
I was beginning to feell uncomfortable.
I doubted I was strong enough to push him off of me.
"Get off of me, would you?" I said with more confidence in my voice than I felt.
Thankfully he got up.
"And I thought you purposefully walked into me, bookworm.", he said, extending his hand to help me.
"I did not. Who do you think I am? And do not call me bookworm.", I said, ignoring his hand and getting on my feet.
"Hmm, why not? How do you call someone who spends most of their time buried in books?" he said, smiling at me.
Now I was able to look at him properly.
He was tall, with short black hair and green eyes.
He looked to be about twenty years old.
Another green-eyed man. Maybe I should ask Albus if they are related. Are priests even allowed…
"You were saying you did not run into me on purpose. I have a hard time believing that.", he said with that char… I mean, annoying, smile again.
I realised I was staring at him.
"I did not see where I was going.", I said, trying to excuse myself.
"I would be surprised if you were able to see anything from behind these books.", he said and I will not mention his smile again.
Cannot blame a girl for wanting to do her job faster.
"As for who you are" he added, "you never told me your name, so how should I know?"
Well, he did not introduce himself either.
"I am Lueldora."
"Sounds like a mouthfull. I am Harrison. May I call you Dora?"
Is he not supposed to tell me my name sounds beautifull or something?
"May I call you Harry?"
"Huh huh, very funny. What books did you read recently?"
"Hem hem."
I jumped and almost tripped over the books, but I was caught by my boss.
"I hate to interupt this tete a tete, but these books need to be put on their proper shelves. And Lueldora, if they are damaged, I will cut off your payment. I am not paying for clumsiness.", my boss said, before returning to his desk.
"Nice boss… "
"Usually, he is. Now help me or get out of my way."
Fortunately Harrison made himself useful and put all books where I told him to.
After that he left without bothering me further.

Message to Advisor

Greetings Albus.

I am sorry I did not write before, but there was nothing exciting to write about.

Well, maybe except that strange hallucination when someone did something to me and I suddenly was able to do much, much more before I got tired.
I mean, would you beleeve me if I said I met an angel?
Or at least someone who looked like one?
Thought not.
On the other hand, you are a priest, so maybe you would believe me.
I finished work in the library and was going to come back to the tavern when it happened.
I do not count on such luck again.

Guess what?
I bought myself a home.
It is not much, only a small hut.
Maybe I should save every coin on training, but I had enough leaving in the Tavern after spending all my time arranging dusty old books in the Library or the Town Hall.
The home is mine and I am proud of it.
I think Mum would be proud too.

Best regards,
Lueldora.
