Cupping Therapy

Has anyone successfully experimented with cupping therapy and had good results? For those who don't know cupping is an ancient practice of putting a heated or fire lit glass jar on your skin so it sucks your skin into the jar. Some people claim it relaxes them or cures disease.

Its an ancient practice so it must have done some good for someone for it to still be in use today.

Cupping Therapy Health & Special Psychology

I can see how this is effective for drawing out fluid from an effected area but other than that you might be rupturing blood vessels by placing undue pressure if its not done by someone expert. Do medical practitioners use this ever?
