We shall discuss the Paladin class in the Dungeons & Dragons 5e role-playing game. What are the benefits of playing the character class of Paladin? Does playing a Paladin have a down side? How should one properly play the Paladin class?
The knight in shining armor, the light in the darkness, and the kicker of collective demon rears.
More than any others, Paladins fight for a cause. They are in many ways defined by the oaths they take.
Their exact role can vary, though many act as tanks and front line combatants. One thing common to all Paladins though, they're alpha strikers. They can't keep it up in the long run, but when push comes to shove, they're able to pile a lot of damage onto a target with their smites.
Paladins can be both fun and difficult to play. The character's alignment can require other party members to keep the Pally in the dark. The noble warrior is usually the most visible character on the field, and is supposed to draw attention and be bold against the bad guys. The character is well equipped with abilities to keep him in the front, dealing damage and taking it as needed, which makes him valuable in any good party.

Comments: I do not like this class. Its like playing a prisoner in a prison. So many restrictions and ethical lines that have to be followed.
