There have been many who have claimed to be the "Christ," or the chosen, or anointed one.Throughout earths history, there have been individuals who have claimed this. Yet, it should come as no surprise that the bible, talks about this in many scriptures.

This shows the nature of the dangers to which believers, or Christian's will be subject. It isn't confined to Jewish history; the scripture foretells the appearance of pretenders who shall assume the part of Christ, and blasphemously assert that they are Messiah, or false prophets.

But who is the real Jesus then? Again, looking at scripture, the bible isn't silent on what to look out for.

What does it mean to acknowledge Jesus then? Many people might acknowledge Jesus Christ as a good man, others a great moral teacher, still others a prophet of God.
But these seven people from around the world, claim to be Jesus Christ reincarnated. But is it enough to have a group of followers, to back up the claim.

Do each of those seven individuals, have the ability to perform real tangible, verifiable miracles? And perhaps the greatest miracle of all, able to bring back someone alive from the dead? Or are they just fleecing their flock for money, greed, fame and fortune? Do they promote mass suicide, or love and peace?

But then again, you don't necessarily need to be a Christian, to know if what they are saying is true. Many of these false prophets, or claim to be Jesus reincarnated, don't stand the test of time. After they die, and have ripped off many of their followers, there will remain no holy book, or testimony, to withstand the test of time and longevity.
Their name won't go down in history, or hold any significant value, then soon forgotten.

I'm not a big Bible reader but from what little I know Jesus is supposed to come back in glory from the sky with his angels. He isn't supposed to be living like a regular guy on earth. What I don't get is the followers, can't they see through this?

Name a trick or a falsehood, and no matter how obvious the trick may seem to you, there is someone out there who cannot see through it.

It is an unfortunate truth that liars and cheats prosper in this world.

Many wolves will come in shepherd's clothing, they aren't anything else but thieves. Thieves of souls and material things. Usually these followers aren't learning from the bible, they are learning from the person they are following because they are offering some illusion that they want to believe is true. You will see more of this in the end of days and many of them will not even use the word "Jesus".
