There have been multiple medical studies showing why this occurs. The additives put into cigarettes since the '50s are proven addictive. And lethal. Sad that we still can't get those chemicals out of tobacco, at least. Even if banning it was an option, at the very least cigarette companies should never be allowed to adulterate the product in the manner they have been.
