Older adults grow just as many new brain cells as young people. Researchers show for the first time that healthy older men and women can generate just as many new brain cells as younger people. Source 1k.

I always thought that we were born with a certain number of brain cells that could be created and it varied from person to person up to a specific age. Now, this is very good news… we can still have brain cells created. This means a lot for anyone who suffered a brain injury or thought they were too old to learn something new.
