For How Long Should You Hug Before Its Too Much?

Other than your own spouse or partner, if you were to give a person a hug how long should you remain in the hug before it becomes too uncomfortable?

Depends. If you are hugging your mom and you haven't seen her in a long time a long hug is acceptable but if its just a good friend who you haven't seen in a long time then a few seconds. Carrying it on like 10+ is a bit of a put off at least for me.
