Study: Older people less apt to recognize they've made a mistake. Researchers have found that older people are less likely than younger people to realize when they've made a mistake. The finding offers new insight into how aging adults perceive their decisions and view their performance. Source 8b.

Oh yeah I can definitely see that and I don't think its just in seniors either. Not only do they not recognize their mistakes but when you point it out to them they do not want to accept it. So maybe its a case of blindness too.
