Thank you for your letters, I appreciate that you send them despite being a very busy man. Your advice and encouragement is always welcome.

i wish that mine had been as frequent, however I can say in my defence that I have been rather busy as well. On top of working at the jail and attending various classes as usual, I have felt bold enough to undertake some quests and assignments on behalf of some of the folk in town. A certain Madam has a rather peculiar labyrinth below her establishment, which I explored a couple of times until she judged me too experienced and referred me to the innkeeper. I have ventured out on his business a couple of times. Gaining valuable experience and coin in the process. There were some individuals who tried to stop me, but were soon introduced to my steel and I returned victorious.

I am beginning to develop a reputation which can only bode well for my ambitions.

Enough for now, I hope to write again soon.
