What is your review for the entertainment value of the movie called, "Mortal Engines"?
In a post-apocalyptic world where cities ride on wheels and consume each other to survive, two people meet in London and try to stop a conspiracy.
Director: Christian Rivers
Writers: Fran Walsh (Screenplay by), Philippa Boyens
Stars: Hera Hilmar, Robert Sheehan, Hugo Weaving.
Mortal Engines wasn't bad but at the same time I felt it lost the momentum it had at the start. I would have liked to see other cities on wheels and how they were setup.
I couldn't understand the practicality of moving a whole city like their version of London all around Europe. The kind of energy that would take would make staying in one place a better choice.
I liked the whole theme which basically points to the fact that mankind will never learn because they constantly use violence as a means to resolve differences.
