Women Need More Social Support
Women with more social support are less likely to die prematurely. In the largest study to explore the impact of perceived social support on cardiovascular disease and mortality, researchers found postmenopausal women aged 50-79 with higher perceived social support were modestly less likely to die during the course of the study; no significant link found between increased social support and CVD. Support Social Need Women
This study makes sense, people in general need social support because that's what keeps them going in the first place. Of course, if the opposite applies then there will be a higher chance of death as time and age continues.
