For the current youth I guess the way Shazam was portrayed was "Cool" but for me there was not a sync and the Shazam character was irritating. I was never a fan of the comic version in the early 70s and 80s but still read it when it was presented. I don't remember Shazam as a boy being so childish. I believe DC is trying to make the Shazam! Character match the humor or Spiderman but I never cared for that kind of 'humor'. The movie itself is watchable but I think Shazam as a teen was portrayed more mature than Shazam! As an adult. What did you think about the movie?

I heard a lot of comparisons between this movie and the previous movie released; Captain Marvel. Personally I would prefer Shazam than the Marvel movie but it's not the best in my opinion. There were some good comedy scenes in the movie but as JB said the character tries too hard to be like Spiderman; it just feels forced.
