Yes we do need to draw straws on guard duty at the wagon it might be very dangerous here.
I would be wiling to stay with Daphne if two are better. In the mountain it would give 4 warriors. I bet there are 3 to 4 top side.
Sending Wanderer first would not hurt my feelings....let her show her mettle.
ooc Hope none mind three are off to scout then report back for next move. Scout will then take his leave. I think two concealed in trees will guard well enough and we can tie up the horses ect.
edit
Seeing that we have no way to hide this rig Kalfie feels it be best to continue forth and get closer to the base and then proceed by foot or horse as required.
Any have different thoughts? Edited: krakyn on 17th Feb, 2009 - 8:40pm
I still think we should ditch the wagon or send it back. We could go up on a horse each and then get to trail and just go up together.
If we walk fast will we get there in time? I guess some can go ahead by horse and the rest follow on foot and just meet at one point.
OOC:
So here's the situation as I see it
1. Should we hit the mountains by light or by night?
2. If we leave at this point how long will it take us to make the mountains by horse? by foot?
3. If it is decided that people will proceed by mount then those without horses, like Amrynth will stay at camp.
4. How thick is the forest around here? Is there not enough shrubbery and brush to conceal a campsite? We should try and find a secure location as close to mountains as possible.
So what's the consensus, we need to make a decision or the DM will add more time. When does the sun go down?
OOC: Here is my thought on this. We need the supplies in the wagon. Lets leave it behind at the base of the mountain where it can not be seen. We go up quick and take out the one guard post. With that post gone it will be easier to go back around through the forest and get to the other side where we can remain unseen. We take out the second guard lookout post and they will be in the pass blind to what is going on outside. Maybe we can get up higher than their main camp and attack them from above. Take out the wolves and leave them more easy attacked at night.
One thing for sure is we attack the first lookout post right before daylight breaks. Like scout said in the early morning in the quiet hour. That gives us the whole day to travel back and circle around to the other side unseen.
