Women now seen as equally as or more competent than men. Women have come a long way in the United States over the last 70 years, to the point where they are now seen as being as competent as men, if not more so, according to new research. Source 6u.

Why do men repress women? Because we know they are more competent leaders than us maybe? The Boy Scouts won't allow coed troops even though girls are now permitted to join, because in other countries girls take over the leadership positions in coed scout troops and the boys are cool with it. Ok that is due to maturity differences in teens.
