Atatiana "Tay" Jefferson Killed By Police Officer Aaron Dean
Ex-Fort Worth police officer Aaron Dean charged with murder for firing the bullet that killed a black woman playing with her nephew. Aaron Dean, who is white, fatally shot Atatiana "Tay" Jefferson through her bedroom window early Saturday morning, moments after he told her to put her hands up despite never having identified himself as a police officer. Dean resigned from the force and now he faces a murder charge. Ref. USAToday.
