Hugh Downs, veteran 'Today' show and '20/20' newscaster, dies at age 99, according to reports. Hugh Downs, whose smooth delivery and warm demeanor led to a seven-decade career in television news and talk shows, died Wednesday, according to the Washington Post and Arizona's ABC15.
