The problem I think with rare diseases is for the doctor to recognize them and be able to diagnose properly. Because you can have more chances of treating a disease successfully if you know what it is. You should have a high index of suspicion when detecting rare diseases. Good history taking as well as family history would be a great help. It is good to know that we are achieving a milestone with regards to Wolfram syndrome.
