Since I was an alcoholic before, I can say I have tasted most locally made alcohol in my country.
The most popular among the masses is Gin. Most famous brand is Ginebra San Miguel. This is followed by Brandy (Which we inherited from the Spanish). Most popular brand is Emperador. Then comes the beer. San Miguel light and Red Horse beer is the most popular. Imported beer is also available here like Corona and Bud. As well as imported whiskey, rhum, vodka etc. But mos Filipino's would love to drink the local brand.
