What is your review for the singer / actress Dolly Rebecca Parton (Born January 19, 1946)?

I like her singing. She has a nice voice. I hope her acting improves but she seems to have fun with it.

She is actually a very accomplished song writer. At last count she had written more then 3000 songs. She has also charted 118 times between 1965 and 2007

Yes she has a lot of songs that I have grown up listening to. IF I am not listening to country I am listening to classic rock or pure instrumental/classical

Oh, what a low blow for all Dolly fans out there, what's wrong with her acting? I remember in her climatic day the most sensational thing about Dolly was:

1. How big her chest was
2. That she wore a wig
3. What she looks like without makeup
4. How many relationships she was in

In other words everyone knew she was talented and nice, but they have to look for dirt all the time.

I found her acting to be rather dull as with most other music stars who think because they have money they can act.

Maybe the roles she is given is dull. I have seen her in a couple of flicks and I thought she did rather well actually. By the way, I am not a country music fan, so her songs are not high on my list at all, but she is quite talented and is especially good in duets with other stars.

She is great in duets and I agree she has had a great carer in singing with an excellent voice and was a great song writer. Her acting well I was not a big fan but she was suited to the corny movies. I will admit I never seen her in a serious roll so perhaps I should have refrained from that lost comment.
