It is not literal as in 'chupar' or 'mamar'!

The person who started the thread had hopes to attempt to insult Trinis by saying Trinis suck o mejor dicho Los Trinis no sirven pa' nada (Trinis suck).

"Suck" is an Americanism implying "useless, no good" or some similar perception.
