Dark mode may not save your phone's battery life as much as you think, but there are a few silver linings. Dark mode is unlikely to make a big difference to battery life with the way that most people use their phones on a daily basis, says a new study. I use dark mode on all my devices but not because of the potential savings in battery usage. I prefer dark mode for its aesthetics and I personally find it easier to view the contents of my devices when there is less glare coming off the screen.
