So if you're Catholic, married and without any children you're going to hell? Looks like the Catholic church is losing membership and wants to keep the congregation high with newborn babies.

It’s actually Catholic teaching that Catholic married couples who engage in the marital act must at least be open to children and not take any positive steps to remove the marital act from its primary purpose of having children. Examples of this would be contraception or natural family planning. Though natural family planning is promoted by many in the post-Vatican II sect, it’s actually a form of birth control meant to limit the marital act strictly to the times when the mother is not fertile to avoid chances of getting pregnant. Pope Pius XI taught this in his encyclical Casti Connubi.

international QUOTE
Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii (# 17), Dec. 31, 1930: “The primary end of marriage is the procreation and the education of children.”(3) Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii (# 54), Dec. 31, 1930: “Since, therefore, the conjugal act is destined primarily by nature for the begetting of children, those who in exercising it deliberately frustrate its natural powers and purpose sin against nature and commit a deed which is shameful and intrinsically vicious.”

While this is a teaching of the Catholic Church, the Church doesn’t teach that the marital act is only for the begetting of children, just that it cannot be closed off on purpose to procreation.

international QUOTE
Casti Connubii (# 59), Dec. 31, 1930: “For in matrimony as well as in the use of the matrimonial right there are also secondary ends, such as mutual aid, the cultivating of mutual love, and the quieting of concupiscence which husband and wife are not forbidden to consider SO LONG AS THEY ARE SUBORDINATED TO THE PRIMARY END and so long as the intrinsic nature of the act is preserved.”
Emphasis mine.

There also story of onan.

As non catholic I agree its selfish (Not in a bad thing either, just simply that, we are all selfish after all) but its their choice to adopt pet or children or not getting children. But in the end I also agree with Krusten that its just an agenda to gain more influence with newborn babies because its an organization afterall, even wesley show they try to find loophole in their teaching, honestly its feel fucked up that they even goes so deep to intervene your personal life.

There is no loophole in the Church's teaching on this matter. The Church teaches that there are two purposes for the marital act, the primary and secondary purposes. Above, we know what those are. As long as someone doesn't take positive steps to prevent the fulfillment of the primary purpose, any married couple can engage in the marital act. Babies don't have to always be on the couples' mind when fulfilling the marital act, but neither can they forcefully close off any opportunity of it either.

There is no force or control used by the Catholic Church on the faithful. No one is forced to convert and no one is forced to stay Catholic. (Though the Vatican II sect is something entirely different than what someone could truly call Catholic, especially under Francis.).

I don't say anything about "Forced" though but about the religious organization interferent with personal life of a couple, so there definitely exist a form of control there.
Well except the baby born are automatically part of this religion until they grow up to have the right to choose other religion, that kinda forced to convert though. The baby or children should not be force fed with religious teaching and doctrine until they grown up to choose or convert to whatever religion they believe, that make it more fair, in my opinion.

Raising a child in the belief system of the parents is nothing new. Everyone of every religion does it. Not all religions can be right at the same time. Either one is right and all the others aren’t or they’re all wrong. But if there’s a possibility that one religion is right, then it’s natural for a parent to want to lead their children in that religion’s tenets since that would be to ensure their eternal happiness, while also trying their best to look out for their earthly happiness as well.

While there’s lots of evidence that Christianity and Catholicism in particular is the true religion, that would be a topic for another thread. Just wanted to address the forcing of children to be religious point.

You misunderstood what I say, but yeah all religion does it and I personally don't like it, because its religion organization forced scam since antiquity, because they don't fully understand the teaching to the point they are easily brainwashed to follow their dogma and they are easily exploited, saw many of it, and I am not talking about christian only but other religion too especially from abrahamic religion, it don't help that if they attempt to change religion they will be shunned upon, heck even lost their life as a consequences, it should be until they fully grown up to choose which religion they want to be part of, thats more fair, lest risk of fanaticism and have better objectivity to choose which true religion they belief.
