I've got to admit, I'm a little bit frustrated at the headline of that article, when the name Grey isn't all that outlandish. Contrast that with a handful of moms who name their children after fictional characters -- I'm looking at you, moms of Hermione and Khaleesi! I think that parents do have a responsibility to their children in giving them a birthname that is not one that will get them bullied. Children, after all, can be cruel even if they aren't malicious. The good thing about names, though, is that you can always change it! Nowadays, chosen names are common, so I think it's just a matter of simple respect… call a child what they want to be called.
