Dresdyn the Wizard

I was given the name of Dresdyn. Named after a brave wizard of old. I am at the age of 5.3 or 16 according to the years of man. I am known as the Wizard because I have always sought out the mystic arts and knowledge of the world, and even though I am young, have obtained a more than most men can dream of on their life.

I was born a Half-elf. My father is a human and mother was an elf. Though our races generally don't mix my father was overcome with her beauty and grace. And though she didn't respond in kind at first, she was overwhelmed with his love and bravery for his love for her.

I stand six foot and 4 inches tall, and though I tend to spend more time in the libraries, I have inherited my father's muscular stature, albeit minus the grandiose strength. I have also received my father's deep brown almost back hair. But recived my mother's crystal blue eyes and more graceful facial features which have started to turn the eyes of many women, young and old alike.

I am one who follows the path of the wizard. I want to obtain more knowledge, power, wealth, and political status in this world through my adventures deals and great deeds. I will be finding the greatest people and obtaining the most true alliances to help me in my quest.

I intend to go forth and obtain all that I seek and in doing so I will become the next Ruler of Kings. It should be known that this is my destiny. Thus, I now start this path towards to my life, my quest, my victory.

A Sentimental Value: Ring, Plain

When it came time for me to leave my childhood home I realized that I would miss it more that I thought. It was more than a house. It was where I grew up and every room reminded me of my mother. This house is where it all started. So I decided to take a piece of it with me. I searched and found an old ring of my mothers lying on the kitchen windowsill, where she would take it off while she clean the dishes. So I slipped it on my finger, silently thanked my late mother for one last comforting gift, and said goodbye to to my home.

Advisor Description

I had been watched for some time now. I could tell it wasn't the gaze of something sinister, but I could still feel their eyes on me most every day since I left my old home. And recently I found out why. I set out to earn some money and after I did I went to make my way into town. The guards stationed there offered to teach me how to play the games they play in the tavern, and it peaked my interest, so I spent some time learning the finer points of the games.

At one point I could fell the now familiar gaze on me, so said to myself, "I wish they'd just leave my alone!"

The guards, who where sitting down, looked up and suddenly sprung to their feet standing at full attention. Curious to see what brought such a change in attitude I looked around to see what had changed.

There was a large armour plated man, with golden brown hair, a full beard, green piercing eyes and a sword at his waist, walking towards our little group. He spoke, and he had a deep rumble to his voice, and quietly said, "Be at ease. I am here to speak with this young one here."

The man turned and led me into the town, "I am called Jace. I am a captain of the guard." he continued.

I realized that would account for the change in the guards demeanor. Quickly I responded with, "So you are the one who has been watching me all this time. Would you mind explaining yourself?" I could feel this man had no intention to harm me. Infact, thinking on it, he had been watching over me since my mother passed. So I would tend to trust this man. I just need to hear from him his intentions

Jace motioned for me to sit on a bench that we had walked to in the town. As he sat next to me he explained everything. He was a childhood friend of my father's and was one of the few people who were part of the wedding of my human father and elf mother. Most would reject that invitation. He became fast friends with my mother and helped her through her pregnancy, but became a captain near the end of the pregnancy and so had to stopped visiting for political reasons. Though they did keep in contact through covert messages. And recently when she knew she was going to die she had Jace promise to seek me out and look over me. He explained that he couldn't at first because his grief was to much for not being there in the end, but now that I am at the town, it was time for him to fulfill his promise.

I sat in silence for a moment. Then I replied that I was glad my mother had a frind she could trust so much. And thanked him for watching over me so far.

Then I told him I would need his help in the days to come. I was on a grand quest to fulfill my destiny. That I had spirit and was willing, but still needed advice and counsel. His he reply warmed me. He told me that in watching me he knew these things already and was ready to help in any way he could. And he believes I cand fulfill my destiny.

Breath of life comes to Dresdyn the Wizard. I, Dresdyn, have died but am alive again! Mine downfalls hath doomed me for the 1st time all because of my bewildered past in this fumes of fancy. I need to changeth mine pursuit.

I have heard the voice of the Godess. Her name is Seraphina and she spoke to me as I visited the temple for the first time. She is the Godess of Free and she revealed to me many things. I have decided to worship her from now and hope to obtain her guidance and blessings.

Avalon Kingdom of Dresdyn

I fell into a deep slumber, and while I was dreaming my mother appeared to me. We stood in a swirl of mist and my mother explained to me that we were in a world of soul. And I would be able to make Kingdom and that land. I would build a kingdom in this land named Avalon and it would be the greatest Kingdom to behold. It would be prosperous, bountiful, and just. And I would rule over this land with benevolence and justice.
