Adventurer Ecglaf

No sooner had I begun my journey into the world than it ended, felled by a lowly ant. As I felt the warmth and energy leave my body, my thoughts were first those of incredulity. This could not be happening! But soon I needed to accept my fate. Bitter thoughts of lost prospects flared up, but at length gave way to resignation, and then the hope that I would see my parents again soon.
