Wanderer Lastlaf

I, Lastlaf, have gained enough experience that I am considered to be Level 1 among my fellow men.

T'was the first time I encountered a Cat. I live to tell about it because I won that battle.

While a Skeleton Knight may be difficult for some a Skeleton Knight is no match for me.

Wanderer Lastlaf

The Beauty of Lady Fluke

Because I was in dire straits
I took this here commission
To sing of Lady Fluke's fair traits.
I here fulfill this mission.

She has fair hair, in curly locks,
that hang around her neck.
And freckles deck her face with pocks
And oh, boy, do they deck.

That girl could start a freckle farm;
she'd grow a bumper crop.
The harvest shouldn't do her harm
if you start from the top.

With all the freckles gathered in
She'd lay out in the sun.
And then her face would sprout again
With freckles one by one!

Most beautiful lady of Lastlaf

She walked in beauty, like the… beautiful walking place. I definitely found myself wishing that I were better at poetry when I saw her. She had straight, brushed-out hair that was dark, though shot through with sun-lightened streaks. Her skin was fair but not pale; she would have tanned rather than burned if she got more sun. Her eyes were gold-tinged hazel. Her full mouth gave me a coy smile when those eyes lighted upon me and filled my chest with heat and hope. Her modest clothes hinted at delightful curves, but gave away little. I desperately wished to learn her name, and more besides.

Lastlaf Wanderer - Page 2

The skeleton knight was too strong, and I sank to the ground beneath his sword. My life was short, and I accomplished little of what I had hoped, or indeed of anything at all. I was, at least, comforted to know that I left behind no family in need of care. As my soul floated away from this punishing realm of Medieval, it prayed that the next world would be more forgiving than this one.
