The land is far far far away and very cold in its night. All know this place but few the spot that is my names sake. Only a handful have ever stepped on its home.

OK I have it narrowed down that he has a river and mountain named after him and he went to the moon. He was not the first but one of the many.

In the military he was in the airforce so that makes it easier.
