Yemen evacuation demonstrates China's growing far-seas naval capabilities:

On Sunday, March 29, the Chinese PLA Navy (PLAN) evacuated 570 Chinese citizens from two port cities in Yemen. Then on Thursday, April 2, the PLAN force returned to evacuate 225 foreign nationals. All evacuees were transported to Djibouti, where they await flights home. Ref. Source 8
