Based on my reply, I will have to defer to you, if we believe in the same Jesus.
But I do believe that we will all have to face the same Jesus someday regardless of how we feel about him and how we interpret him. I believe he will be much more loving then you or I could ever imagine him to be with our imperfect capacities.
I am sure (though I cannot know) that you and I are equally excited about meeting him someday, and it is my hope that you and I can meet there in full fellowship as brothers, rather then strangers as we are now. Edited: dbackers on 18th Nov, 2008 - 9:41pm

Do Mormons worship the same Jesus from the New Testament Bible or do they have a different Jesus from the Book of Mormon? |
Revival that last quote you posted I think pretty much answered the question as do not pentecostal, Presbyterian, United Church, baptists ect all answer yes to that question?
Rather off topic, but... I fail to see why you are unclear on this answer. Perhaps you seek to understand what the book of Mormons is? If so it can be found for free on the internet. |
Since this is a question concerning the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints's view on the Godship and Supremacy of Jesus Christ, let me answer this question with this with Scriptures that we believe further testify of Christ's role as God, Redeemer, Savior, and Exemplar.

The Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 2:8 ....that there is no flesh that can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah... |
QUOTE |
2 Nephi 25:23 23 For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do. |
QUOTE |
The Book of Mormon Moroni 10:32 32 Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God. |
QUOTE |
The Book of Mormon Mosiah 3:13 13 And the Lord God hath sent his holy prophets among all the children of men, to declare these things to every kindred, nation, and tongue, that thereby whosoever should believe that Christ should come, the same might receive remission of their sins, and rejoice with exceedingly great joy, even as though he had already come among them. |
QUOTE |
Doctrine and Covenants D&C 18: 21-23, 21 Take upon you the name of Christ, and speak the truth in soberness. 22 And as many as repent and are baptized in my name, which is Jesus Christ, and endure to the end, the same shall be saved. 23 Behold, Jesus Christ is the name which is given of the Father, and there is none other name given whereby man can be saved; |
QUOTE |
The Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 31:15 13 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, I know that if ye shall follow the Son, with full purpose of heart, acting no hypocrisy and no deception before God, but with real intent, repenting of your sins, witnessing unto the Father that ye are dwilling to take upon you the name of Christ, by baptism-yea, by following your Lord and your Savior down into the water, according to his word, behold, then shall ye receive the Holy Ghost; yea, then cometh the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost; and then can ye speak with the tongue of angels, and shout praises unto the Holy One of Israel. |
QUOTE |
The Book of Mormon Mosiah 5: 7-10, 15 7 And now, because of the covenant which ye have made ye shall be called the children of Christ, his sons, and his daughters; for behold, this day he hath spiritually begotten you; for ye say that your hearts are changed through faith on his name; therefore, ye are born of him and have become his sons and his daughters. 8 And under this head ye are made free, and there is no other head whereby ye can be made free. There is no other name given whereby salvation cometh; therefore, I would that ye should take upon you the name of Christ, all you that have entered into the covenant with God that ye should be obedient unto the end of your lives. 9 And it shall come to pass that whosoever doeth this shall be found at the right hand of God, for he shall know the name by which he is called; for he shall be called by the name of Christ. |
