Exploring Wrecks - Page 4

The Game Master says...

GM: No replies so we will continue.

You find yourself rather enjoying the cool sea breeze as you see the island approaching in the distance. It has a dismal look to it. The island has a center hill that ascends about 800 feet above sea level. You can see some beach and some wrecks of past vehicles and machinery scattered about. The men traveling with you look at you with a sinister grin as though they know something is about to happen.

The boat approaches a jetty and they are getting ready to dock.

GM: Sy what you will do now.

The Game Master says...

Your hosts jump out of the boat quickly and tie it to the jetty. They immediately start off loading their stuff when coming from the island on to the jetty is an older thuggish looking guy who asks them,

"What's that?"

You think he is talking about the cargo but then you realize he is talking about you!

"Did you rub them down?"

You begin to wonder what he means by that when he immediately heads off to a wooden shack at the other end of the jetty.

The guys turn to you saying they need to check you.

GM: Say what you will do now.

The Game Master says...

The men pat you down and take away basically everything you have on you. One of them pulls out a crude looking pistol and so you do not want to move at this point. Your stuff is placed into a sack and you are left with just the clothes on you. You are then taken to a small shack near the jetty where the older thuggish looking guy says to the men,

"Take em' to the boss."

The men nod their heads and then usher you to the beach and a track that leads into a forest.

GM: Say what you will do now or if you just wish to see where they take you then reply with that.

The Game Master says...

You are taking on a trail with a fairly steep incline. Surrounding you is dense jungle. The atmosphere is almost tropical but there is a faint scent of manure mixed with rust in the air. You cannot see much around you but the green of leaves and curious plant life. You are then brought to a 'T' in the trail it runs from North to South. The two that carry you start a deliberation as to whether they should get something North or just take you straight to the facility to the South. Having not been in such a situation before causes you to be very nervous.

GM: Say if you will do anything now or just continue to listen.

The Game Master says...

They decide to take you to the facility. You trek through jungle and you feel as though this may be as close to the Amazon as you can get having read on the computer back home about the same for past school projects.

You make an ascent and after about 15-20 minutes you are amazed to be brought to what seems to be a very modern facility. You are taken to a room where you are locked into what looks like cages made for large animals as opposed to humans.

The young men before leaving sarcastically ask,

"Do you need any tea, coffee?"

Without giving you much chance to answer they continue.

"The hotel staff will be in to take your order just now."

They then leave laughing out the door they came in

Another person comes into the room you are locked up in. He dressed with a lab coat and appears to be a scientist. The man looks at you both shaking his head and says...

"Sorry for your bad treatment, but you know we are doing sensitive work here. What brings you to this place?"

GM: Say what you will do now.

The Game Master says...

Unable to answer you find yourself at a loss to give a response. The scientist looks at you parculiarly and then continues,

"I see you are at a loss for words, perhaps your coming here was not all that the young men claimed it to be..."

He then pulls out a small computer punches in something and then says,

"Well, I hope you enjoy your stay."

He then walks off comfortably.

GM: You are kept in prison, largely because of in action. You will have to wait til others come to the Island and rescue you. How long that will be will be dependent on those joining Future Earth and rescuing you.

The Game Master says...

Meanwhile...

The last time you heard from your friends they said they (Characters now locked up) were going to an Island and would be back in a week. Two weeks go by and you do not make any contact. You are suspicious about this and start to inquire around town. Your investigation leads you to a poster about the Island and a bar where young men from there often gather weekly for entertainment. You decide on a plan to get to the Island.

GM: Say what you will do now.

The Game Master says...

You decide on a plan to make yourself look a cut above the rest through buing expensive clothes. You travel to a part of the city you are in to find a shop that can make this happen. Based on your current attire it will take the works to make this happen. After being shown available goods the cost will be around 1500crs for the both of you.

GM: Say if you will pay this fee and what you will do next.
