Cup World FIFA

Chile played a pretty good game but they could have done better, Honduras is a very weak team so I was a little disappointed at the Chileans. The Spaniards don't seem to be lucky in World Cups. Everyone is impressed with them, not me.

Comments: Uruguay / SA match, the referee was really unfair to give the SA goalkeeper a red card when he hardly touched the Uruguayan striker.

Hardly touched him? It was CLEARLY a penalty. The Uruguayan player was in the goal area and the South African goalkeeper put his leg to cause him to fall. He did not went for the ball, he went for the player's leg! Clear as water.

The final score for that match was South Africa - 0 and Uruguay - 3. I do not think we will be seeing much of South Africa again. I agree with Zee though, it could have been a yellow card not red.

I agree with LDS, blatant foul by the goalkeeper.
Group decider tomorrow - Argentina v South Korea.
South Korea have better goal difference so the result is vital for our South American friends. (They have a Welsh Colony in Patagonia so I'm biased).

We will beat South Korea 3-1 (I say 1 just because I feel sorry for the Koreans ). It is early in the morning so I have my Argentine football shirt ready.

My uncle used to work in Patagonia and we grew up eating Welsh Cake!
